Profit-Driven Leadership Foundations

Every successful journey begins with a strong foundation. This course introduces the Profit-Driven Leadership Training, explains how the Truby Management System (TMS) serves as the leadership implementation framework at the heart of the program, and develops the essential leadership skills you'll build on throughout every course that follows.

TMS Phase One: Transform

Before a leader can organize, mobilize, or optimize a team, they must first transform how they think about the people they lead. Phase 1 builds the human foundation — genuine trust, connection, and the relational agreements that make everything else in the system possible. This short course introduces the core concepts of Phase One and sets the stage for the practical steps that follow (Step 1: Bonding and Step 2: Agreements).
PDLT Course 3 of 16

TMS Step 1: Bonding

Bonding is the science and practice of building genuine connection and trust — the neurochemical foundation of every high-performing team. This course teaches leaders how to build bonding intentionally with individuals, teams, and organizations so trust stops being an accident and starts becoming a leadership practice.

TMS Step 2: Agreements

Most execution problems leaders face trace back to a single root cause: agreements that were never actually made. This course teaches leaders how to replace the costly fog of unspoken assumptions with explicit, mutual commitments, transforming accountability from a pressure tactic into a natural result of how the team operates.

TMS Phase Two: Organize

A bonded team without clear structure and expectations will still underperform. Phase 2 brings the organizational clarity that turns a connected group of people into a team that functions well — with clear roles, appropriate authority, and expectations everyone understands and owns. This short course introduces the core concepts of Phase Two and sets the stage for the practical steps that follow (Step 3: Structure and Step 4: Expectations).

TMS Step 3: Structure

Every organization has a structure—but not every structure works. This course teaches leaders how to design, communicate, and maintain organizational structures that create clarity, establish appropriate authority, and make accountability a natural part of how the organization operates.
PDLT Course 7 of 16

TMS Step 4: Expectations

Expectations drive performance — but only when they are set clearly, communicated explicitly, and maintained consistently. This course teaches leaders how to establish meaningful expectations with individuals, teams, and organizations so accountability becomes fair, consistent, and effective.

TMS Phase Three: Mobilize

With a bonded, organized team in place, Phase 3 turns attention to direction and purpose. This phase aligns your team around what your organization produces, where it is going, and how every person's effort connects to the mission that makes the work meaningful. This short course introduces the core concepts of Phase Three and sets the stage for the practical steps that follow (Step 5: Value Deliverable and Step 6: Goals).
PDLT Course 9 of 16

TMS Step 5: Value Deliverable

Every organization exists to deliver value — but most cannot clearly define what that value is. This course teaches leaders how to identify, communicate, and align their people around the value their organization delivers, creating greater focus, purpose, and long-term success.
PDLT Course 10 of 16

TMS Step 6: Goals

Goals give a bonded, organized, value-aligned team something meaningful to achieve together. This course teaches leaders how to establish goals that create commitment, align effort, and sustain momentum from individuals to the entire organization.

TMS Phase Four: Optimize

The final phase transforms a performing team into an improving one. Phase 4 builds the systems and culture that compound results over time — creating an organization that gets better on purpose, not just by accident. This short course introduces the core concepts of Phase Four and sets the stage for the practical steps that follow (Step 7: Efficiency Systems and Step 8: Continuous Improvement).

TMS Step 7: Efficiency Systems

Efficiency systems allow organizations to produce exceptional results consistently instead of relying on memory or heroic effort. This course teaches leaders how to identify, build, and improve the systems that make operational excellence repeatable across individuals, teams, and the organization.
PDLT Course 13 of 16

TMS Step 8: Continuous Improvement

The highest-performing organizations never stop improving because continuous improvement has become part of their culture. This course teaches leaders how to create an environment where learning, innovation, and ongoing improvement become natural habits at every level of the organization.
